We currently have exciting, flexible opportunities for HGV Class 2 Day Drivers (or Cat C Drivers as we sometimes call them) to join our growing Swindon depot. Day shifts typically start at 04:00 What Youll Do: Our HGV Class 2 drivers work on shifts, safely transporting our palletised parcels to Couriers or collecting from Delivery Units (thats where our couriers pick them up). You will typically have a run with 4 - 5 drops ensuring the safe, efficient driving of vehicles and keeping the paperwork updated. Our full-time HGV Class 2 driver roles are 40 hours a week, but flexible contracts and part time hours are available. Full time is any 5 shifts out of 7, rotas are given in advance. What We Can Offer You: £15.00 per hour (£14.60 per hour plus £0.40 seasonal allowance) with an overtime rate of £21.90. In addition to our competitive salary, our full time colleagues enjoy a minimum of 32 days annual leave (including Bank Holidays), 3% contribution into your pension & life assurance. Essential Skills & Experience Required: · Youll need a full UK driving licence with HGV Class 2 (Cat C) entitlements, drivers CPC and digital tachograph. Newly-qualified drivers are welcome, however all drivers will need to undertake a short driving assessment. · Excellent communication skills · A safety-first mindset · Reasonable physical fitness Feeling ambitious?
