Shift Electrical Engineer - West Drayton Data Centre Location: West Drayton, London Salary: £56,000 per annum (includes bonus) Shift Pattern: Continental Shift (Days & Nights, 7am - 7pm) About the Role global leader in data centre solutions, powering the digital transformation of businesses worldwide. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Shift Electrical Engineer to join our critical engineering team at our state-of-the-art West Drayton Data Centre. As a Shift Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the continuous, efficient, and reliable operation of all electrical and building services systems that support our mission-critical environment. Working on a continental shift pattern, you will be part of a highly skilled team delivering first-class engineering and maintenance services across the site. Key Responsibilities Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on all electrical and associated building services systems. Respond swiftly and effectively to engineering faults and breakdowns to minimise downtime and disruption. Ensure critical systems-including HV/LV distribution, UPS, generators, lighting, and fire systems-are maintained to the highest standards. Support with switching operations and electrical isolations under appropriate supervision and procedures. Undertake regular plant room checks and record operational data. Liaise with contractors and vendors for specialist maintenance and remedial works. Maintain accurate maintenance records and ensure all work is logged within the companys CAFM system. Work collaboratively with mechanical and controls engineers to ensure full M&E reliability. Adhere to all site-specific health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and site reliability programmes.
