Were currently looking for a skilled and reliable Plant Mechanic / Forklift Engineer to join our workshop team.

The Role
Reporting to the Workshop Manager, youll be responsible for maintaining our fleet of gas forklifts (ranging from 2T to 40T), responding to breakdowns, and supporting the general upkeep of the workshop and other equipment.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on, detail-oriented individual who enjoys problem-solving and working in a high-paced, team-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities
Routine maintenance and repairs of gas forklifts (2T-40T)
Diagnosing and responding to breakdowns quickly and effectively
Supporting the Workshop Manager with maintenance of other transport vehicles
Assisting in the general upkeep of a clean, safe, and well-stocked workshop

What Were Looking For
2 years experience in plant or forklift maintenance desirable - would consider mechanics with other industry experience as further training can be provided for the right candidate
Strong work ethic with a flexible, can-do attitude
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high standards
Full UK driving licence (Forklift licence is a plus)
Available for immediate start
