We are seeking a highly competent Audit Senior to join our clients team based in Gerrards Cross, Buckinghamshire. In this role, you will lead comprehensive audit assignments, oversee the preparation and completion of company accounts in line with firm policies, and ensure timely and efficient delivery of work within budget constraints. You will also be responsible for executing specialised audits, such as SAR, ATOL, pensions, and charities, alongside preparing corporation tax computations. The role involves supervising and mentoring junior staff, maintaining professional client relationships, and proactively engaging with management to suggest improvements. You will be expected to manage multiple assignments, report progress to the audit manager or partner, and stay current with relevant legislation and technical standards. Responsibilities & Duties: Lead company audit assignments, which will include planning, fieldwork and completion using standard programmes Preparation and completion of company accounts in accordance with the firms policies and procedures Carry out specialist audits (eg; SAR, ATOL, pensions and charities) Carry out ad-hoc assignments (eg; due diligence and systems reviews) Preparation of corporation tax computations Carry out work efficiently, to budget and within deadlines Supervise, train and mentor more junior members of staff Research and analyse financial statements and audit related issues Maintain client confidentiality and professional relationships Proactively interact with client management to gather information, resolve problems and make recommendations for business and process improvements Manage assignments and report to audit manager or partner on progress Joining this dynamic firm offers numerous benefits including a competitive salary package accompanied by a bonus scheme, flexible and hybrid working arrangements, and comprehensive benefits.
