What You’ll Do As a Children’s support worker you will support young people with their daily routines; Getting them ready for school, prepping for meal times and planning activities. Create a warm, homely environment by helping with light housekeeping. Build strong, meaningful relationships and provide emotional support. Plan and join fun activities like trips to the park, popcorn & movie nights or creative projects. Keep essential records to ensure the best possible care. Our home is a large historic building with a beautiful garden. Inside we have lots of rooms allocated to different activities so there is ample space for the young people to utilise. Seeing the young people grow and being part of their journey is such a rewarding feeling that will stay with you forever. Although it is hard to say goodbye when the young people move on, this gives opportunity to help and support more young people.
