We are seeking an editor to help lead the coverage of equity market intelligence in London. The successful candidate will be a well-organized editor who is passionate about financial markets. We are looking for a team player who can tell stories in multiple formats. The role requires editing insightful and analytical reports on topics such as market positioning, sentiment, investment flows, volatility, options, technical analysis and strategy, as well as editing market wraps and pieces on key events that affect equities. Our successful candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, with their finger on the pulse of what will drive the most significant market moves each day.
We'll trust you to:

- Collaborate with a diverse and dedicated team of reporters and strategists to help decipher market activity for investors
- Help reporters and strategists gather ideas for short stories on market insight
- Help shape up compelling stories on emerging market trends and provide insightful color

You'll need to have:

- 5+ years of financial journalism experience
- An extensive knowledge of financial markets
- Solid news judgement and strong editing skills, with a knack for explaining complex ideas in clear, engaging writing
- Natural collaborative and leadership skills
- The ability to work under pressure and on tight deadlines
