We are recruiting for a Hostess/Kitchen Assistant to join us. Applicants should possess a genuine commitment to providing the highest quality of service within our beautiful new purpose-built care home setting, working alongside the other hostesses and chefs.
- Preferably previous experience of working in a similar hostess/kitchen assistant role, or have a genuine interest in working in the care industry
- Have a proven stable employment record and references
- Have the ability to work in a warm and inviting atmosphere, serving and producing meals and drinks for residents and residents families when necessary.
- Be confident interacting with residents while undertaking your role.
- Work quickly but accurately, in a fast paced environment around meal times.
- Work in a kitchen environment, preparing meals and washing up.
- Keep the three dining rooms, and bistro area cleaned and tidy, and prepared for meals, keeping all fridges stocked up.
- Complete any paperwork needed for dining rooms and bistro areas.
- Be able to act on your own initiative and have the confidence in your ability

A DBS will be completed before commencement of the role.

Full Time role. A variety of shifts will cover all 7 days of the week (including alternate weekend working).
