As we continue to expand our operations, we are seeking a skilled and experienced Mechanical Site Manager to join our dynamic team.

As a Mechanical Site Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all mechanical aspects of construction projects in Liverpool. Working closely with project stakeholders, subcontractors, and suppliers, you will ensure that mechanical systems are installed, tested, and commissioned to the highest standards of quality and safety.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement project schedules for mechanical installations, ensuring alignment with overall project timelines.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to plan and sequence mechanical work activities.
- Procure mechanical equipment and materials required for the project, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with specifications.

**Mechanical Installation and Supervision**:

- Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
- Supervise subcontractors and mechanical tradespeople to ensure work is carried out according to technical drawings, specifications, and industry standards.
- Conduct regular inspections to monitor the quality of mechanical installations and identify any issues or deviations from project plans.

**Health and Safety Compliance**:

- Enforce strict adherence to health and safety regulations on-site, ensuring a safe working environment for all personnel.
- Implement and maintain safety procedures and protocols for mechanical installations, including risk assessments and method statements.

**Client Liaison and Communication**:

- Serve as the main point of contact for clients regarding mechanical aspects of the project, providing regular updates on progress and addressing any concerns or inquiries.
- Collaborate with clients to ensure their requirements and expectations for mechanical systems are met throughout the project lifecycle.

**Budget Management**:

- Monitor and manage the mechanical budget for the project, tracking expenditures and identifying cost-saving opportunities where possible.
- Prepare regular reports on mechanical costs, forecasts, and variances for project management and stakeholders.

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- Proven experience as a Mechanical Site Manager or similar role in the construction industry, with a focus on mechanical installations.
- Thorough knowledge of mechanical systems and equipment, including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage a diverse team of mechanical tradespeople and subcontractors.
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- Relevant qualifications in mechanical engineering or a related field are preferred.

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 3 months

**Salary**: £21.70-£22.87 per hour
