Due to ongoing business growth, an opportunity that has arisen for a Credit Controller to join my South Manchester Clients Credit Control team on a permanent basis. This position can offer an excellent degree of autonomy and multiple career development options.
You will be tasked with reducing outstanding debt, proactively working with customers on process improvement and working with multiple business sites up and down the country.
The core function of this role is to proactively reduce monies owed in a timely manner, whilst analysing and reporting on relevant information.
- Proactively deliver cash collection targets through chasing of outstanding debt
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with external customers and Internal Branches
- To provide guidance and support to internal customers to support company growth
- Investigate unpaid accounts - following up with required actions
- Prioritisation of workload to achieve agreed targets
- Remain constantly vigilant of any potential bad debt - escalate where appropriate
- Participate in monthly meetings with managers to give updates on all accounts and discuss any issues for escalation
- Managing accounts of varying sizes
**Requirements**:
- Previous experience in a B2B Credit Control positions (2 + years)
- Excellent organisational and time management abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a pressured and target driven environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build and develop strong and trusting relationships with customers
- Good level of Excel knowledge
- A high degree of attention to detail
- Motivated mentality with the ability to proactively work towards targets
