Dbs Caseworker

**The Vetting and Disclosure team are looking to recruit one full time, permanent DBS Caseworker located at Mansfield House.**

**The security of our force and the people who work within it is of paramount importance, so we're looking for a someone to help provide this vital process.**

**Key Responsibilities**
- To receive and validate requests from authorised agencies to create and update records held on the Police National Computer system in relation to DBS issues.
- Identify, investigate, and assess/evaluate any relevant information relating to an applicant and/or family member/associate that may present a potential risk to children and/or vulnerable adults.

**The must haves**
- Experience of working in a role requiring clerical / admin nature where attention to detail and accuracy has been essential.
- Experience of evaluating information from a variety of sources and determining its relevancy including collating large amounts of information, identifying key issues, and presenting findings accurately
- The experience of managing own workload and prioritising effectively, able to handle several tasks simultaneously ensuring deadlines and performance targets are met.

**Salary -** £24,921-£29,874

For part time hours the salary will be calculated on a pro-rata basis, this is based on the number of hours for the vacancy.
