We are a long established car breaker with ATF status, buying scrap cars, MOT fails etc and selling spare parts and part worn tyres to the trade and public.

**Job description**

We are looking for a yard worker with previous mechanical experience to remove parts on request, fit and strip tyres, serve customers both face to face and over the phone along with other general yard duties such as sorting and tidying.

Would suit mechanic, trainee mechanic or someone with good practical skills and a broad knowledge of vehicle makes and models.

Previous experience of plant/forklift driving could be an advantage but not essential.

Hours of work are Monday to Friday, 8:30 - 5:30

Saturdays 8:30 - 2:00 (every other Saturday on rota basis, paid at overtime rate on top of stated salary)

Work is generally outside in all but extreme weather.

**Salary**: From £28,300.00 per year
