**Senior Teaching & Learning Administrator**

**Start: ASAP / 1 Month Contract**

**Salary: £20.13 - £24.90 p/Hour**

**Location: WC1E 7HG**

**Our client**:
Our client are one of the largest univerisities in the world, and were established in 1826. They are looking for an experienced administrator with experience within the educational environment to join their busy team.

**Main purpose of the role**:
The main purpose of the role is to provide specialist administration for the Taught Programmes. You will be working under the direction of the Programmes Manager, and in conjunction with the Departmental Tutor, Programme Directors and other relevant academicand administrative staff.

**Main duties & responsibilities**:

- Develop, produce and maintain information for taught students
- Act as a primary point of contact for academic staff for information on procedures, regulations, programme and module development
- Liaise with the Student Support Advisers, Programme Coordinators and the Departmental Tutor with regard to student issues and concerns
- Oversee module registration processes for new and continuing students
- Archive student records and related material at academic year
- Give guidance and advice to staff and students regarding regulations and procedures
- Maintain departmental databases and records in relation to the Year Abroad
- Represent the Department and actively participate in relevant Faculty and College networks and groups and Communities of Practice

**Desired Skills / Knowledge / Experience**:

- Educated to degree level or with equivalent experience
- Experience of working in a higher education environment
- Track record of delivery of high quality administrative service
- Significant experience in supporting/working with students and academics
- High level of literacy and excellent oral and written communication skills
- Accuracy and attention to detail even when working under pressure
