With our continuing commitment to growth, we are seeking to **appoint two** enthusiastic Cleaners to join our wonderful team of cleaning operatives on a part time basis. Our cleaners are gems, they are key to providing safe, clean work environments with reliability, great time management and attention to detail.

**Our Positions**

As detail-oriented, well presented and commercially experienced **Cleaning Operatives,** you will contribute to the daily cleanliness and overall maintenance of four floors within the Laings Head Office and the premises across two closely located Stores.

**Key responsibilities will include**:

- Perform general cleaning duties to maintain clean and clear office spaces and store areas, including all surfaces (desks and worktops), floor areas, stairs, lobby, and lift areas.
- Maintain cleanliness of our exterior entrances to our Head Office building.
- Cleaning and sanitizing our kitchens and restrooms, ensuring they meet hygiene standards.
- Ensuring waste collections are disposed of daily and remain vigilant with recycling.
- Assist with cleaning windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces.
- Conduct weekly cleaning of our main refrigerator.
- Ensure cleaning supplies are stocked and re-ordering of cleaning products is conducted via our Head Office Administration team as required.
- Adhere to safety protocols and use cleaning equipment properly.
- Collaborate with our cleaning team colleagues to achieve cleanliness goals.

**Key requirements**:

- 1-year previous commercial cleaning experience.
- All applicants must be prepared to undertake a full Disclosure and Barring Check.
- You will be flexible and reliable, with a positive attitude.
- Hold strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining cleanliness standards.
- Good communication skills, with the ability to follow instructions and work independently and efficiently. Always maintain discretion and confidentiality.

**Position schedules available**:

- **Position 1**:_ Offered on a Monday to Friday basis, 3.5 hours per day, working 17.5 hours per week 6.30am - 10.00am.
- **Position 2**_: Offered on a Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday basis, 3 hours per day, working 15 hours per week, 7.00am - 10.00am.
- **In both positions, you will be assisting alongside our current cleaning stars. **_
