**Senior Software Consultant**

We are looking for developers with experience in their current tech stack listed below but most importantly, are looking for passionate developers who love learning, love solving problems, and love being in an environment that supports this.

Your duties will include but not be limited to:
**Required Skills**:

- Java Serverside development - minimum 8 years' experience of professional development.
- Relational database
- Understanding of design patterns
- Experience in working with high frequency/low latency data processing systems
- Experience with high volume data processing systems
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
- Understanding algorithm complexity

Desired Skills:

- Understanding of Financial/Capital Markets Sector
- Hands-on experience with messaging platforms (Solace, MQ)
- Hands-on experience with Unix/Linux
- Agile/XP development experience including test driven development

Key Responsibilities
- Work as part of the globally distributed development team
- Ensure code/design quality
- Automated tests development
- Production rollout and support
- Code/functionality documentation
- Application development and support

**Salary**: £26,000.00-£35,000.00 per year

Supplemental pay types:
