**Introduction**

A great opportunity to join Transport for Wales (TfW) as a Senior Estimator(Post Delivery) to work across multiple TfW directorate teams (Transport Planning and Development, Commercial and Infrastructure) to contribute to a robust and accurate budget estimating process that is provided throughout TfW’s portfolio of works.

**Role responsibilities**

You’ll lead in the development and implementation of a cost database by compiling data from estimates, tenders and actual project costs to provide TfW with a comprehensive source of cost information for inclusion in future cost estimates.

You’ll be responsible for the long-term management and maintenance of the TfW cost database through the addition of new data, periodic reviews of the existing data, and live market data to enable benchmarking and verification.

You’ll develop standardised templates by utilising the Rail Method of Measurement (RMM), Microsoft Excel, causeway estimating software and industry best practice for the recording of cost data following the completion of contract works.

**Who we are looking for**

You’ll need to:

- Be degree qualified in relevant field, such as Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering
- Have a proven track record of providing high value estimations for infrastructure projects.
- Have experience of working within the transport sector / rail / construction industry.
- Demonstrate good knowledge of relevant legislation and its impact upon the contract and commercial function.
- Have experience of working with Rail Method of Measurement (RMM) documents.

Byddwch yn gyfrifol am reoli a chynnal cronfa ddata costau TrC yn y tymor hir drwy ychwanegu data newydd, adolygiadau cyfnodol o’r data presennol, a data’r farchnad fyw er mwyn gallu meincnodi a dilysu.

Byddwch yn datblygu templedi safonol drwy ddefnyddio Dull Mesur y Rheilffyrdd (RMM), Microsoft Excel, meddalwedd Causeway Estimating ac arferion gorau’r diwydiant ar gyfer cofnodi data costau ar ôl cwblhau’r gwaith contract.
