This automotive company specialises in repairing and remanufacturing gearboxes and transmissions. They are looking to recruit an additional Vehicle Technician with an automotive background to work on manual and automatic transmissions for a wide range ofmanufacturers.

Are you looking to develop your technical experience with a specialist vehicle repair company and gain additional training?

Ideally, you will be a qualified vehicle technician with previous experience in a main dealership or general vehicle repairs. Extensive training in transmissions will enable you to develop your technical skills.

The workshop operates Monday - Friday, 8.00 - 5.00, and you will work at the Chesterfield workshop.

**The Vehicle Technician's main responsibilities**
- Working under supervision to remove and replace vehicle gearboxes
- Diagnosing the work required and undertaking repairs
- Checking the vehicle for signs of other work required and advising the supervisor
- Ensuring the rest of the vehicle mechanicals are in a safe state
- Undertaking repairs and replacing parts on brakes and suspension

The role offers the opportunity for progression through training to become a gearbox specialist.

The group of specialist gearbox sites is highly successful and respected for providing a high-quality niche service.
