Trainee Estimator

Owing to continued demand and our ambitious plans for growth, J Manny are looking to recruit a trainee **Estimator** to join our friendly team.

**Main Responsibilities**

As the **Estimator** you will ideally have worked in a similar engineering industry with experience of working on automatic doors/Industrial doors however this is not essential as this is a trainee role. This role reports to the Senior Estimator.

As an Estimator at J Manny you will be responsible for:

- Production of accurate and comprehensive estimates in a timely and efficient manner.
- Control and management of the estimating process at project level;
- Production of estimates without management or supervision;
- Assisting in the achievement of departmental objectives;
- Staying abreast of developments within own technical area of expertise to be able to give best practice advice in line with business objectives.

Other responsibilities for this role will include (not exhaustive):

- Be an integral member of the commercial team supporting the Senior Estimator and Directors
- Build a strong relationship with our customer and internal team
- Liaise with clients during quotation process
- Research and collate materials, labour costs, equipment and timescales
- Work closely with our customer service team

**Salary**: £7.49-£10.42 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Caerphilly: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)
