**Your new company**
Is a well-established brand in Northern Ireland and ROI. They are one of Derry's largest employers and enjoy an excellent reputation locally. Hays have been appointed to recruit a HR Adviser to join their established HR team. This is a 12 month position withhybrid working.
**Your new role**
Reporting to the HR Operations Manager and working within an established HR team, as HR Adviser, you will assist with the preparation of monthly payroll, administer employee benefits, respond to queries from staff and people managers on payroll related matters,administer all leave entitlements for employees including maternity, paternity and parental. As HR Adviser, you will support over 700 employees across Northern Ireland on queries relating to HR policies and procedures with a strong customer focus. You willsupport the business in the implementation of HR policies and procedures, and answer general policy questions about employment, working conditions, compensation, benefits etc. Keep HR systems current and accurate in terms of HR information. Use reporting andsystems available to effectively monitor, track and audit HR processes to mitigate against risk and ensure compliance. You will be flexible to undertake other duties that may be required from time to time.**What you'll need to succeed**
As HR Adviser, you will have CIPD / HR or relevant qualification and be able to demonstrate 2 years' experience in a HR Adviser / Generalist role. Strong knowledge on employment legislation in Northern Ireland. Working knowledge of Data Protection obligationsand confidentiality as applies to a HR professional. You will also have strong Excel skills and analytical ability.
