Quality Assurance Auditor

We are looking for a Quality Assurance Auditor to join us for a 6 month Fixed Term Contract to cover maternity leave.

Our reputation with our customers is paramount, and to maintain this we need to ensure that our food safety adherence, quality control and finished product monitoring is of the highest standard.

Quality Assurance Auditors work within our Technical Team. This role follows our rotating day/back shift pattern (details at end of advert).

The formal auditing element of this role requires a high level of integrity and a process driven work ethic. Strong IT skills (Excel and Word), excellent written and spoken English, good numeracy and a confident but friendly personality are essential.

This is a role with many different areas of responsibility and below are some of them:

- Quality and Food Safety formal audit management, including traceability; allergen controls; foreign object monitoring; pest control recording and documentation auditing
- CCP /GMP checks
- Monitoring raw materials, stock rotation and temperatures
- Calibration, metal detection, weight and date coding checks
- Taste Panel Management
- Non-Conformance corrective actions/customer issues
- Sample collections: swabs, shelf-life checks, water sampling
- Supporting our Food Safety Culture

**Shift Pattern**

**Week 1**
Sunday 0700 - 1700
- Monday - Rest Day_
Tuesday 06.30 - 1400
Wednesday 06.30 - 14.00
Thursday 06.30 - 14.00
Friday 06.30 - 16.30
- Saturday - Rest Day_

**Week 2**:

- Sunday - Rest Day_
Monday 07.00 - 17.30
Tuesday 14.30 - 22.00
Wednesday 14.30 - 22.00
Thursday 14.30 - 20.30
- Friday - Rest Day_
Saturday 0700 - 17.30

Interviews and a factory tour will take place on site at Orkie.
