We are currently looking to employ a passionate and ambitious individual as a greenkeeper to help maintain our golf course and driving range.
- A positive hard-working attitude
- Minimum of 2 years greenkeeping experience
- Minimum NVQ level 2 sports turf management
- A good understanding of machinery operation
- Good communication skills
- A flexible approach as some earlier than normal starts required
- The ability to commit to a full-time position - to work 5 days a week and every second weekend
- A keen eye for detail
- Capable of working on their own and as part of a team
- Good time management skills

Roles and responsibility
- Operate course maintenance equipment as directed observing safe-operating procedures
- Implement daily course set-up requirements involving mowing greens, tees, fairways, rough with specific equipment
- Implement all cultivation operations including aeration, top dressing, scarification and seeding
- Set tee markers and cups on greens daily
- Implement all maintenance practices
- Renovate worn and damaged turf
- Assist with long-term course development and course projects
- Prepare and maintain machinery
- Identify and control weeds, pests and diseases
- Switch and brush greens
- Indicating drop zones and hazards

Job type - Full time, permanent

Schedule
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Summer hours you will work every second weekend
- Winter hours you will work 1 in 4/5 weekends

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £19,000.00-£22,000.00 per year
