Microservices Developer (Java/Python) - upto £675 a day negotiable (inside IR35) - Remote from the UK

6 months+ contract position, to join the team in a large government programme.
Immediate start
Fully remote from anywhere in the UK with limited on-site flexible working.
Rate: upto £675 a day negotiable, based on skills/experience, inside IR35

Skills and Experience Required:
Strong hands-on knowledge in developing, testing and deploying Microservices based mainly on Java or Python
Strong understanding of Cloud Architecture (AWS)

a. Docker creation and deployment
b. Integration and Testing with CI/CD pipelines

7-10 years of experience in the above
Good analytical skills
Public Sector experience would be a bonus but not essential
The ability to communicate exceptionally via videoconferencing is essential, to deliver meetings, presentations and reviews.

The Role:
A Microservices Developer is required on this Enterprise Architecture Programme, where the client has assessed and reviewed their current data reference architecture framework and wants to design a new cloud based target state that is suited to their future needs.The

new design will incorporate an MDM (master data management) suite of tools.

Understand the Functional and Technical Requirements
Understand the Solution Architecture and the Design
Understand the migration approach
Advise on how to set up an API based framework, for deployment of the solution using microservices
Provide hands-on expertise to develop the microservices required
Deploy the new cloud environment using the DevOps tools listed
Participate in key technical discussions

Due to the sensitive nature of the client environment, BPSS Clearance will be required. Applicants will need to be located in the UK and have the ability to be SC security cleared if necessary, or have current transferable clearance already.
