**SHEQ Administrator Job Vacancy**

Location: Stourbridge, Hours of Work: 9am - 5pm

Salary circa £20 - £28,000 depending on experience

We are the UK’s class-leading supplier of fire detection and fire protection systems and remain one of the largest privately owned fire protection businesses in the UK. We design, install, and maintain all types of automatically operating fire extinguishing systems and electronically activated fire detection and alarm systems for large projects through to servicing small standalone products. We currently have over 200 employees and have offices based in Stourbridge (HQ), Manchester and London.

**SHEQ Administrator Roles and Responsibilities**

To support and assist the SHEQ function in the day-to-day running of the department with a positive, helpful and friendly can-do attitude.

The SHEQ Administrator will be knowledgeable, efficient and reliable in their work and be confident in communicating with all levels of staff within the company.

**Duties**:

- Undertake tasks/projects requested by the SHEQ Manager
- Support the SHEQ department in all aspects of SHEQ administration
- Actively take part in the Internal Audit System by carrying out departmental internal auditing
- Assist management system documentation updates
- Assist with office H&S Inspections / first aid monitoring / fire drills, weekly alarm checks
- Assist / support with the completion of Environmental dashboards / carbon monitoring
- Completion of SHEQ related PQQ / Tenders
- Support with ad-hoc work projects involving the SHEQ department as and when required
- Updating HSEQ online portals - Safe Contractor, CHAS, Achilles etc
- General administration
- Compiling statistics for reports and presentations
- Maintaining Training matrices / induction material
- Book Training courses
- Assist with producing training material / presentations
- Support and provide SHEQ information to site teams as and when required
- First Aid / Fire Marshall duties
- Experience working within the Construction Industry, ideally with a background in one of the SHEQ areas
- Internal Auditor qualification (or willing to obtain)
- Willingness to learn and a proactive attitude to development, particularly within Environmental Management
- Reliable and punctual
- Team player / willingness to always help out colleagues
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office packages - Excel / PDF
- Full UK Valid Driving License and willingness to travel to project sites with the SHEQ team as and when required
- Able to organise and prioritise own workload and work autonomously
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Strong Work ethic
- Adaptable with the ability to use technology
- First aid & Fire Marshal training (or willing to obtain)
