Job title : Investment Analyst
Role : Full time
Area : Central Chichester, Hybrid working / Fully remote considered
Salary : £25k to£50k dependant on experience.

**Summary for Investment Analyst**:
Provides support to the company in monitoring the service outsourced to third parties, predominantly of investment advisers but may include other third party appointees.

**Principal Activities for Investment Analyst**:

- Monitor investment performance and risks within the funds against benchmarks, peer groups and on an absolute basis
- Review funds in line with their objectives and policies
- Liaise with investment managers over fund management and issues that have arisen
- Report and monitor findings through the Assessment of Value process in respect of performance and risk
- To participate in the initial and on-going due diligence of appointed Investment Managers
- Present findings to Investment and Fund Risk Committees
- Track open items and escalate to committee where appropriate
- Build strong relationships with third parties who are often referrers of business
- Assist in inputting and monitoring data from Fundware, analysing and recording the subsequent results in a format that can be provided to the board

**Personal Profile for Investment Analyst**:
The following knowledge are experience are essential for the role:

- A background in the investment industry
- Hold or be prepared to study towards IMC and/ or CISI Investment Advice Diploma
- Working towards CFA
- Minimum of 2 years industry experience
- Understanding of the regulatory environment

The following skills are also required:

- Computer skills to include advanced ability to operate Word, PowerPoint
- Proven excel knowledge and understanding
- Planning & Organisation - able to follow processes and carry out tasks effectively
- Ability to work under pressure and to cope with high volumes
- Proven analytical skills
- Interpersonal skills - able to communicate effectively
