The role:
Our client are seeking a people person that enjoys interacting with customers for this challenging but very rewarding role. Working as part of the service team you will be exposed to a broad and interesting range of technical tickets and be in regular communicationwith our customers throughout Cornwall and Devon. The ability to put customers at ease and assist them patiently and effectively is what sets our service desk apart. This role will suit someone who has basic IT skills, picks up new technologies easily, hasplenty of patience, a keen eye for detail and excellent communications skills.

Role responsibilities:

- Managing and recording tech support tasks in the Ticketing System
- Communicate to the customer the status of their ticket every step of the journey to completion
- Tech Support of Windows Desktop, Microsoft 365, Backup Systems, Endpoint Security, Business Applications and Network infrastructure
- Administration of Windows Server and Microsoft 365
- Great IT problem solving skills
- Desktop Support
- IT Networking and Peripherals
- Use of service desk tools and software
- Enjoys customer communication
- Excellent telephone manner

Development:
As part of this role, we are keen for our staff to continue enhancing their skills and capability and to progress within the business. Development within this role are as follows:

- Cyber-security products and services
- Microsoft 365 and Azure
- Microsoft Teams Phones Systems and 3CX
- Firewalls and Switching
- Virtualisation and Windows Server
