Over the last five years, Company Bakery has evolved from a humble setup with one full-time baker and a part-time delivery driver to a dynamic team of 34 employees. We now deliver bread and pastries to over 150 businesses and 300 residences weekly in Edinburgh. As a cornerstone of the Edinburgh food and wine scene, we are excited to expand our offerings through the establishment of an on-site cafe.

**Job summary**:
**Key responsibilities**:

- Team Leadership: Lead and motivate the Front of House team to deliver exceptional customer service and uphold quality standards.
- Operations Management: Working alongside the Cafe Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the cafe, including inventory management and equipment maintenance.
- Training and Development: Train new Baristas and Front of House staff on coffee preparation techniques and be keen to share coffee knowledge.
- Quality Control: Ensure consistency in coffee preparation, beverage presentation, and overall service quality.
- Customer Service: Foster a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere for customers. Interact with guests, build relationships, and address any concerns or feedback to ensure a positive experience.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Cafe Manager to monitor sales trends and offer suggestions on menu adjustments or promotions to drive revenue growth and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.

**Qualifications**:

- 1 year of experience as a Head Barista or in a similar role.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Creative thinker with a capacity for out-of-the-box problem-solving.
- Commitment to sustainability and community engagement.

**Schedule**:

- 5 days per week (specific days and hours to be determined based on operational needs).

Pay: £25,000.00-£27,000.00 per year
