**About PJS Telecoms & Utilities**

Established in 2004 and based in Liverpool, PJS started as an Electrical Contractors before moving more into providing telecoms and utilities contracting services to blue-chip clients and network operators nationwide.

We are a very friendly and open business, and pride ourselves on the excellent service we provide to our varied customers within the telecommunications, utilities and electrical sectors.

Previous experience is **required**. We are looking for enthusiastic, capable individuals who can work as part of a team. Reliable, with good organisation and timekeeping skills.

Must be willing to travel, although the majority of our current work covers the North-west and Midlands.

**Responsibilities**:

- Attending sites and splicing overhead and underground fibre cabling
- Working at heights and in the UG network
- Working to company Safety, Healthy, Environment & Quality processes and procedures
- Produce, update and interpret records of daily work logs, job packs, apps, data recordings and network design maps.
- Finding faults on the exisiting and new networks being bulit
- Excellent communication skills with relevant parties

**We are looking for people who meet the following criteria**:

- Hold a full UK driving licence for at least 12 months with no more than 6 points on your licence
- NRSWA Street works Operative unit 2 card required
- Experience interpreting site documentation and installing equipment in with the specification
- N023 One Fibre Network Build
- SA001 - Overhead Safety
- SA002 - Underground Safety
- OTDR Testing
- Proven experience building on PIA infrastructure.
- Confident working at heights and in the underground network where applicable.
- Experience of working with but not limited to 8, 12, 16, 96, 144, & 288 fibre
- Experience handling fibre, including preparing, splicing & testing
