Café Barista/supervisor

About us:
Dartmouth Castle tearooms is a local institution and attracts visits from far and wide.

We are a small café in a stunning location at the mouth of the River Dart adjacent to the English Heritage visit attraction, Dartmouth Castle. We are also on the South West coastal path and attract a lot of passing walkers

The cafe is currently to build a team for the summer. It’s a busy location in summer months and quieter once the season ends, but stays open all year round, serving food and coffees and cake to take away.

About you:
Are you and experienced barista or café supervisor ?

We are looking for some one with experience in a busy café environment who is passionate about serving the best food and drinks. A great can do attitude and a sense of humour are a must, with a strong want to provide an excellent customer experience.

Strong barista skills are essential.

About this role:
The café is located at the end of Castle Rd in Dartmouth. Can be accessed by foot or car. Plenty of parking is available.

This is a part time position, aprox 3 days a week and is a seasonal position. We are looking for a start date of early to mid June or earlier.

Work patterns would vary and would include weekends, hours worked could range between 8.30am - 5.30pm. No regular evening shifts. But occasional late opening during summer months maybe an option. You will be serving food and drinks along with making coffee, amongst many other service and operational tasks associated with a busy café. Such as serving ice cream, taking orders, using the till.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: £11.50-£12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 30 per week
