Bank Nmp

The post holder will be registered as a NMP within Spectrum Community Health. The NMP will prescribe only within, and not beyond, the boundaries of their knowledge and competence and according to Spectrum Community Health policies. The post holder will be a practicing experienced non-medical prescriber for South Tyneside Drug & Alcohol Services delivering drug and alcohol prescribing services.

Whilst working as a Bank NMP, you will be working as part of multi-disciplinary team you will deliver high quality specialist treatment to service users, in line with NICE-based protocols for the management of substance misuse. The Bank NMP will prescribe pharmacological treatment ensuring client’s receive regular medical reviews in accordance with the joint case management review procedures. Implementing care pathways across the area in selected treatment hubs.
