Our client is a family owned, high-end bespoke furniture maker creating cabinetry, upholstery, joinery, metalwork and finishing services all from their in-house production and manufacturing workshop.

As a growing business they are currently looking for an experienced Furniture Designer / CAD Technician to develop initial concepts through to final production and manufacture.

**Key responsibilities for the Furniture Designer will be to**:

- Produce and design 2D/3D furniture models
- Produce detailed, technical working production drawings and packs for manufacturing
- Produce cutting lists, calculate material requirements, costs and prepare quotations
- Liaise with clients and order materials
- Manage and co-ordinate projects from enquiry through to installation

**Skills and Experience required from the Furniture Designer**:

- Experience working as a Furniture Designer or CAD Designer on bespoke projects to include upholstery and/or joinery manufacturing
- Proficient in SolidWorks and/or Rhinoceros 3D
- Problem-solving skills, with the ability to solve technical challenges
- A broad knowledge of furniture construction
- Strong written and verbal communication skills

In return the salary range will be between £32k and £38k plus pension and the following company social benefits:
