**Main purpose of job role**:

- Provide a ductwork manufacture service to the AVS Ltd business

**Reporting to the Workshop Manager the key tasks will include, but are not limited to**:

- Manufacture of ductwork to the HVAC DW144 standard as issued from technical drawings
- Competently use the guillotine, plasma, brake press, steel worker and henrod
- Instruct designated Workshop Trainee
- Liaise with other key AVS/RGM personnel to ensure a smooth manufacture process
- Work closely with Workshop Manager to resolve manufacture issues
- Proactive approach to H&S ensuring the safety of self and others is always paramount

**Essential requirements for the role**:

- Previous sheet metal manufacture experience
- Ability to read CAD generated technical drawings
- Flexibility to work overtime

**Desirable requirements for the role**:

- Supervision of staff
- Attainment of relevant training
- Fork lift licence

**Salary dependent on experience.**
