Before School Club Assistant

This is a part-time permanent position and is appointed by and accountable to the Headmaster via the Bursar for the supervision of pupils (4-11) on the main school site in the Before School Club.
Main duties and responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
1. Take responsibility for the scheduling and delivery of high quality play based activities in a safe and caring environment.
2. Prepare and supervise breakfast (7.30 to 8.00)
3. Work with the Extra Curricular Coordinator to manage a termly budget for resources.
4. Be aware of and workin accordance with the school’s safeguarding policies and procedures and to raise any concerns which may be noted during the course of duty.
5. Responsible for daily register,and use of school database to obtain and update pupil details.
6. Administer minor first aid (as trained) and assist with sick children where necessary.
7. Comply with the school’s First Aid policies and procedures, ensuring all accidents are recorded appropriately and that parents are informed.
8. Attend training as necessary.
**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 5 per week
**Salary**: £15.00-£16.00 per hour
