We have an exciting opportunity for 2 highly motivated and enthusiastic Band 5 Speech & Language Therapists to join our adult SLT team in North West Wales. And will offer an excellent opportunity for Newly Qualified Therapists to continue to develop a wide range of clinical skills.
You will provide Speech and Language Therapy Services for patients living in Gwynedd and Anglesey, in a variety of settings including clinics, inpatient, outpatient and domiciliary settings.
You will provide person centred assessment and treatment of communication needs in conjunction with Multidisciplinary team colleagues to improve the quality of life for those referred to our service, and their carers and support staff. This will involve training and enabling others to support the individual to reach their full potential.
The successful applicants will be supported by local clinical specialists to achieve RCSLT NQP competencies as required, and have access to regular professional and management supervision, a mentor, regular team meetings, and opportunities for continued professional development
As a member of the Speech and Language Therapy team you will be expected to contribute to the ongoing development of a forward thinking and modern department.
Due to the bilingual population within Gwynedd and Anglesey, we will support non Welsh speakers to learn Welsh on commencement of the role.

He/she will demonstrate independent learning and be inquisitive and forward thinking. He/ she will be committed to working in a multi professional team and demonstrate highly developed communication and negotiation skills within this forum. He/she will be passionate about delivering person centred care, and in ensuring evidence based assessment and treatment is provided at all time.

Welsh to be learnt upon appointment.
