Pipefitter Mate

Pipefitters Mate wanted on a permanent basis at a site near Basingstoke - MUST have a British passport due to site requirements

Annual Salary £27,500+

Overtime 1.5X / 2X hourly rate

**Responsibilities**:

- Install, assemble, and maintain pipes and pipe systems according to specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine pipe layouts and configurations
- Cut, thread, and bend pipes using hand and power tools
- Weld, solder, or braze pipes as needed
- Test pipe systems for leaks using pressure gauges and other equipment
- Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure efficient project completion
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times

**Experience**:

- Minimum of 1 years of experience as a Pipefitter / plumber mate or in a related field
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong knowledge of pipefitting techniques, materials, and tools
- Experience with welding, soldering, and brazing techniques
- Familiarity with various pipe systems (e.g., HVAC, plumbing, industrial)
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
