**Salary: HCC HA Scale Point 2 actual salary £4,312 per annum** including outer fringe allowance, based on 9 hours per week, term time only

**Hourly rate: £10.94 **including outer fringe allowance

**Hours: Monday, Wednesday & Friday 7.00am to 10.00am**, 9 hours per week, term time only

**Start date: As soon as possible**
- Full-time equivalent salary = HA2 £21,104pa (including outer fringe allowance of £663pa)_

We wish to appoint a person with energy, commitment and a high level of interpersonal skills, with proven experience of working in a commercial kitchen environment, lifting heavy tools and kitchen equipment. Experience in food handling and food safety and health regulations is an advantage.

**Main duties and responsibilities include**:

- Maintaining the food storage areas, freezers, refrigerators and dry stores in all operations across the site
- Receiving, checking and organising daily multi-temperature deliveries and transporting them to individual operations across the site
- Removing all packaging and additional waste appropriately for recycling
- Clean and tidy all storage areas using the correct stock rotation and according to Food Hygiene regulations
- Basic knowledge of kitchen safety and health regulations
- Aiding the catering department as required
- Teamwork skills to collaborate with colleagues
- Ability to follow all instructions given
- Energetic and enthusiastic to work early mornings, with a flexible approach
