**Our Client**

This property business in Tetbury construct and deliver high end properties to the private market. They have a casual work environment and offer flexible working hours. They are seeking an experienced part-time bookkeeper to assist in managing the day-to-day accounting and finance requirements. Ideally you will have some knowledge of the construction industry, however this isn't essential.

**The Role**
- Produce and issue client invoices on Sage
- Process invoices and expenses from sub-contractors and other suppliers.
- Process employee expenses and credit cards.
- Bank & credit card reconciliations.
- Set up new customers, suppliers, and projects on Sage 50.
- General office support to include filing, answering phone where necessary.
- Process payroll for 4 staff (QTac)
- Complete and submit CT61 and R185 interest forms
- VAT returns
- Complete and submit CIS returns
- Prepare financial statements.
- Maintain herd book.
- Help with other office admin tasks as required.
- Strong organisational skills, applied with a keen eye for detail.
- Financial acumen - an understanding of the basic principles of finance including supplier accounts, client accounts and VAT requirements.
- Experience of handling CIS returns.
- PC proficient with the ability to use Outlook, Word, and Excel. Use of Sage is preferred, although experience of other accounting software will be considered.
- Personable, reliable, service orientated individual with a proactive attitude.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Discretion in handling sensitive information.
- Willing to "muck-in" and help out with other tasks when needed.

**The Terms**
- A salary of c£30 FTE* (Dependent on experience)
- Benefits include a company pension, casual dress, on-site parking. 20 days holidays plus Bank Holidays (pro-rated for part time hours).
- *Full time equivalent - actual salary will depend on final hours agreed._

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: Up to £30,000.00 per year
