Minibus Driver D1

We are currently recruiting Charity Minibus Driver Crew members. You will work with children with disabilities and vulnerable adults. This is a very rewarding role, and makes a real difference to peoples' lives.

The role is currently **20 hours per week, term time only**. These hours/weeks may increase as we look to meet more transport needs in our community. We currently pay **£11.42/hour**; which equates to a yearly salary of **£9,727 **per year including holiday pay (0.47 FTE £20,784 pro rata).

This role is ideal if you have activities to do around work hours, want a regular income, but want fewer work weeks per year.

You must have D1 on your licence. We will carry out an enhanced DBS check.

We've got people on our crews who are semi-retired, have returned to work after a long break (e.g. mums/dads raising children); as well as people who combine their role with another job or caring responsibilities.

We provide full training including MIDAS (Minibus Driver Awareness Scheme); other training like safeguarding (and we don't expect you to pay for this training like some other companies do).

We carry out your DBS check (again we don't expect you to pay for this like some other companies do).

We don't do zero hours contracts, we offer contracted hours and permanent roles.

For term time only roles, we pro-rata your pay and holiday pay, year-round, so you know what salary you can rely on every month of the year.
