As a **Driver / Labourer**, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and materials to their designated locations. This is a great opportunity for someone with excellent communication skills who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.

**Your daily tasks will include**:

- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods and materials
- Load and unload goods, ensuring proper handling and securing of items
- Plan routes and follow delivery schedules to ensure timely deliveries
- Communicate effectively with customers, providing exceptional service and addressing any concerns or issues
- Perform basic maintenance checks on vehicles, such as checking oil levels and tire pressure
- Keep accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents or damages
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving
- Workshop labourer duties as and when required
- Wrapping and packing pallets ready for dispatch
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Previous experience as a driver or in a similar role preferred
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- The ability perform basic vehicle maintenance checks
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- Familiarity with workshop operations is a plus

Working hours are Monday - Friday 8am-5pm. Overtime is available at an increased rate during busy periods.

Rate: £10.50 -£11.50 per hour depending on experience.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £10.50-£11.50 per hour
