**Mtrec’s new client opportunity**:
**The Job you will do**:

- Your role will oversee the management of stock across all product categories for the business.
- Working alongside a team of 3 buyers and allocating budgets and min/max stock levels for specific product category
- Your role will ensure that all stock is within the pre-agreed min/max levels.
- You will use internal reports and forecasts, namely "WSSI" to identify fast selling products, stock for clearance and redundant stocks.
- You will work with the owner of the business and our Finance Director on plotting sales projections over the year and ensuring you get the correct budget to be able to meet those sales expectations.
- You will then be responsible for allocating budget to the buyers in the right proportions, both in terms of category splits and month by month throughout the season, monitoring always spends.
- You will be responsible for running a weekly merch report and then holding a stock meeting with buyers and finance to discuss demand.
- You will also be expected to contribute and facilitate opportunities for sales growth using forecast data.
- You will report to the managing director on sales profits on a category-by-category basis.
- Twice a year you will conduct range planning by using historical sales data.

**About You**:

- You will ideally have merchandised experience within the retail industry, or similar related experience.
- You will be highly analytical and an expert user of IT systems and software.
- You will live local to the Newcastle area and ideally have a full driving license.
- A degree level or equivalent qualification in Merchandising or similar is preferred but not required.
- You will have an interest in continuous personal development and be a meticulous in your approach to work.
