**The Company**

Their platform empowers businesses and customers to reduce their carbon footprint and contribute to a greener environment. By funding projects aimed at safeguarding rainforests, they facilitate sustainability across all business sectors, preventing carbon emissions. Through incentivising customers to support rainforest conservation during online purchases or partnership selections, they encourage consumers to wield influence through their buying choices, fostering positive environmental impact. Their overarching goal is to emerge as a leading global defender of forests and biodiversity, extending financial support to Indigenous communities and smallholders for their forest stewardship efforts and conservation initiatives.

**The Role**
- Product strategy is key to prepare the business for an expected demand surge in 25/26 (driven by legislation)
- Lead across the business - day to day operational involvement across key functions
- Definition of strategy, alignment of team to vision and ongoing motivation of team
- Driving company performance, setting clear and measurable KPIs for the management team, and holding people to account for their delivery (currently c.20 employees in the business including contractors)
- Building, leading, coaching and mentoring the senior executive team, driving exceptional performance within their respective areas
- Working closely with the technology and product teams to develop a best-in-class product & product development roadmap
- Overseeing the building of an efficient sales and marketing machine to drive growth and continually improve the unit economics of the business (ADS is currently £5k, moving towards £10k)
- Promoting and developing the company mission

**Requirements**:
Experience you'll bring to the business:

- Seasoned CEO experience within a seed or Series A VC-backed SaaS start-up, adept at navigating the common hurdles encountered during rapid scaling.
- Proficiency in adapting and resolving intricate challenges within a dynamic setting, demonstrating resilience when faced with uncertain or incomplete information.
- Skilled in managing diverse stakeholders, including board members and transitioning founders.
- Demonstrated success in assembling and leading top-tier teams, showcasing a consistent ability to recruit and cultivate high-performing talent.
- Proven track record of implementing robust processes, systems, and operational standards crucial for supporting the expansion of a growing enterprise.
