**ROLE**: Family Paralegal
**LOCATION**: Bury / Hybrid Working
**SALARY**: DOE

**Responsibilities**:

- Take instructions from clients on behalf of the file handler
- Assist Solicitors in preparing legal documents.
- Conduct legal research and gather relevant information for cases
- Organize and maintain legal files and documents
- Draft correspondence and communicate with clients, witnesses, and other parties involved in the legal process
- Schedule appointments, hearings, and meetings
- Assist with trial preparation, including organising exhibits and witness statements
- Maintain confidentiality of client information

**Experience**:

- Experience of working in Family Law with Legal Aid experience is essential.
- Previous experience working as a paralegal or in a legal support role is required
- Proficient in legal research methods and using online databases
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks effectively
- Familiarity with legal terminology and procedures
