Veranda Fitter

Responsibilities:

- Measure, cut, and shape wood, metal, plastic, and other materials according to specifications
- Assemble and join materials using nails, screws, staples, or adhesives
- Install cabinets, shelves, doors, and other wooden fixtures
- Repair or replace damaged or worn-out wooden / metal structures
- Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure project completion

Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a joiner or carpenter or metal worker
- Proficient in using hand tools and power tools
- Knowledge of different joinery techniques and woodworking or metal work principles
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good physical stamina and manual dexterity
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating dimensions
- Hand tools: Proficiency in using various hand tools such as hammers, chisels, saws, etc.
- Fabricate: Skill in creating custom-made wooden structures or components
- Power tools: Competence in operating power tools such as drills, saws, routers, etc.
- Roof: Familiarity with roofing materials and installation techniques
- Carpenter: Expertise in carpentry work including framing, trim work, and finishing touches
- Assemble: Ability to assemble different components into a complete structure

**Salary**: Up to £14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
