**Factory Operative**

**Full Time, Monday to Friday, Based in Eirth**

**Annual Salary: £24,500 - £27,000**

**Meridian Technical Services Ltd** are a 20 year old company specialising in the periodic pressure testing and refilling of high-pressure cylinders for the fire suppression industry. They are a busy and friendly place to work with a mix of staff in the office, workshop and drivers. Part of a global group specialising in aviation safety, its an exciting time to join the growing company.

After full induction and training, duties will involve:

- Safe handling and moving of large cylinders between buildings and work stations
- Cleaning and preparation of cylinders including automated and manual sanding and paint spraying
- Overhaul of complex cylinder valves
- Refitting valves and refilling with specialist inert gasses
- Loading and unloading lorries/vans

**Desired skills**
- Counterbalance forklift training would be an advantage but full training will be given.
- Experience handling high-pressure gasses and cylinders will be a distinct advantage although this can be taught.
- Must have hands-on work experience using tools/machinery
- Driving licence preferred as unreliable public transport links can mean difficulties starting on-time.
- Good grasp of the English language is critical as you will be reading and following technical documents written in English.

This is a Full-time, Permanent role

**Working hours**
- Mon-Thurs 7am-4pm (45 min break)
- Fri 7am-2:45pm (45 min break)
