A rare and exciting opportunity for the role of "Volunteering Support Administrator" has arisen.

This role is based in the Patient and Carer Experience Team and provides essential support, helping to ensure that the Trust's Volunteering Service is well-supported and runs smoothly.

Part time - 22.5 hours per week

**Main duties of the job**:
Some of the main duties for this role are:

- To support the Patient and Carer Experience Team in the effective delivery of the Trust-wide Volunteering Service.
- Support volunteers and ensure they have a positive and meaningful experience whilst volunteering with the Trust.
- Engaging with volunteers in a person-centred way.
- Assisting the Patient and Carer Experience Team with the recruitment and onboarding of volunteers.
- Liaising with existing volunteers in a person-centred way
- Maintain an accurate Volunteer Database, by inputting / updating information as needed and being diligent in the handling of confidential personal data.
- Providing support to other staff teams at the Trust who supervise volunteers.
- Reach people who might not usually volunteer, or who have difficulty accessing traditional volunteering opportunities.
- Producing written documents, presentations, reports, agendas, and minutes using Microsoft Office.
- Assisting with the regular production of the Trust's Volunteering Newsletter, and circulating this to volunteers and staff as required.
- Being responsible for organising and preparing meetings, training sessions, or other events to engage with volunteers.
- Taking and transcribing minutes as required.
- Maintaining accurate diaries, and organising own workload.
