The Role

As a maintenance multi-trader, you'll be scheduled to visit our portfolio of properties across your assigned region (e.g. NW London) to carry out remedial and planned maintenance, to ensure that we're always providing high-quality accommodation for our residents. You'll be part of a team of other field-based maintenance multi-traders, and property managers to ensure that repairs are carried out promptly and effectively.

What will you be doing?
- Attending properties to carry out proactive and reactive maintenance repairs, with work

scheduled for you by your coordinator.
- An accurate description for each job (photos/ videos) Before and after
- Updating information on our maintenance system (training provided)
- Completing jobs in accordance with service level agreements
- Registering job progress reports and completing job reports
- Liaise with other maintenance teams and external specialist
- Ensure planned maintenance and breakdown activities are monitored and any delays are logged and escalated to the maintenance service team
- Ensure that the highest levels of customer service are fully implemented to achieve customer and client satisfaction.

**Job Requirements**

It's essential that you have:

- Substantial experience in multi-skilled trade repairs and maintenance, including plastering painting and decoration, plumbing, basic electrics, carpentry, and kitchen installation.
- Ability to prioritise workload and work effectively in a high-pressure environment
- Ability to provide expert advice to junior members of the team
- Close attention to detail
- Good administrative skills
- Ability to work on your own initiative without close supervision and as part of a team

It's an advantage if you:

- Can work flexibly - standard hours are 9 - 6 pm
- Flexible to do earlier and later shifts to provide enhanced support for urgent work
- Flexible to attend emergencies out of hours
- Have previous experience working in temporary and emergency accommodation
- Have experience working with vulnerable individuals and managing HMO properties
- Driver’s license
- DBS / Police checked (or able to pass these if you've not previously required them)
