**Bookkeeper / Credit Controller**

Based in the beautiful rural setting of Stoneleigh, Pragmatic Consulting Ltd is a fast-growing business that offers external training solutions to some of the UK leading tier one construction companies on a national basis.

We have a part time friendly office dog who is in the office most Tuesday's and Thursdays.

**Mon to Friday 09:30 to 17:30 or 09:00 to 17:30 with 1 hour lunch**

**The Role**

A fantastic opportunity has become available to join a Training Company in Stoneleigh Park, Warwickshire as a
Bookkeeper / Credit Controller

You will be a key member of the team to provide Bookkeeping, financial and credit control support. **Main Duties (not limited to)**:

- A willingness to take on additional tasks - temporarily or permanently - to contribute to the success of a small, high quality, people-focused team
- Prioritise your work by planning and focusing your tasks
- Bank Postings and Reconciliation
- Invoicing clients daily
- Debtor and Creditor Reconciliation
- Issuing of customer statements every month
- Preparing and submitting VAT Returns
- Credit chasing
- Credit checking and referencing of new accounts
- Monitoring accounts and issuing final demands
- Setting up of new supplier accounts and maintaining existing account details
- Assisting the finance function with ad hoc duties

**Personal Competencies**
- Ability to multitask, have strong organisational skills, and manage tight deadlines is essential
- Strong IT skills (excel, word, outlook)
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Keen team player with the ability to work well towards own initiative
- Accurate administration skills and a good eye for detail

**Experience required.**

**Mandatory**
- Experience working in a busy office
- Experience of working as a book keeper
- Experience of credit control
- Experience of Sage 50 accounting system
- Be able to analyse numbers and discuss with clients and management team

**Desirable**
- Previous experience working within an external training company would be advantageous.
- AAT Qualifications Level 2 or Level 3
- Bookkeeping: 2 years (required) VAT returns

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £21,000 to £23,000

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 37.5 per week

**Salary**: £21,000.00-£23,000.00 per year
