Wrightbus manufactures the World-first zero-emission hydrogen double-decker, alongside midibuses, full size single deckers, two and three axle double deckers and articulated vehicles. Wrights Group has recently focused increasingly on its zero-emission hydrogen buses.

Responsible for spray painting buses, to a high-quality finish, in line with customer specifications.

*Requirements: *
- Time Served Spray Painter.
- Experience of Spray Painting with Preparation knowledge.
- _Desirable - _Experience within commercial or car industry.
- Knowledge of Clear over base and 2 pack paint.
- Repairs to minor dents.
- Spot repairs to paintwork
- _Desirable _- Knowledge of templates & marking out vehicles.
- Good interpersonal skills
- Willing to undertake training as required
- An awareness of general Health and Safety rules.
- Proven ability to be flexible, working overtime and changing shift patterns as required.

*Responsibilities: *
- Responsible for the marking out and spraying of Basecoat and Direct gloss colours.
- Responsible for any touch up repairs and small paint repairs, prior to sign-off and vehicle delivery.
- Responsible for assisting paint preparation i.e., marking up vehicles prior to paint.
- Responsible for the safe operation of plant, equipment and/or hand tools associated with the paintpreparation & paint processes.
- Responsible for compliance with the company’s Health and Safety policy procedures.
- Responsible for undertaking training or retraining associated with the post or the introduction of new working practices.
- Undertake any other duties conducive with the effective operation of the post.

**Salary**: £27,664.00 per year
