**General Operative/Labourer**

**£11.44 ph - Temporary Role - 3/6 months**

The Recruitment Bunker are recruiting for two General Operatives for a leading automotive company with stunning build workshops based in Newton Aycliffe and Darlington. This role will be to support with the logistics of preparing the factory for a very exciting build programme.

**Overview of the Role**:

- General Operative
- Salary - £11.44ph
- 40 hours per week Monday-Friday (early finish each Friday afternoon)
- Location - Newton Aycliffe, just off the A1(M)

**Responsibilities**
- Follow the quality, health, safety, and welfare policies of the company
- Assist stores in stock taking and moving of materials
- Participate in manual work
- Ensure a safe, tidy place of work making sure items are in the correct place
- To be able to work in a structured manner

**Essential Skills**
- Experience of working as a general operative or labourer in a manufacturing or automotive environment is preferred
- Have good H&S awareness
- Ability to work in a role where manual activity is not an issue for main part of role
- Clean driving licence
- Attention to detail
- Good communication skills and the ability to listen
- Able to work as part of a team and take direction from the team but also be able to work on their own initiative.
- Commitment to safety and adherence to safety regulations and procedures

**Desirable Skills**

Forklift licence would be desirable and advantageous
