A new and exciting opportunity has become available for a Senior Learning Technologist.

The E-Learning Team at NCCG is passionate about being at the forefront of digital and E-Learning technologies. This post would suit an experienced practitioner looking for their next challenge, making their mark within an Outstanding organisation.

Would you like to be at the forefront of enhancing student’s and teacher’s knowledge and skills through E-Learning technologies and developing support teams to work effectively with digital technologies.

We are looking for a passionate, innovative, enthusiastic individual who will work well in a small team to support teachers and students to use E-Learning software (in particular our top 8 college software’s, which include, Microsoft 365, Kahoot, ClickView, Moodle, Adobe, Kahoot Padlet & 360 Video and VR). You do not need to be an expert in all the technologies we use, but be confident in the use of computing and IT and be keen learn and develop.

This job will offer opportunities to develop your knowledge on various E-Learning and digital technologies, skills on mentoring and training staff, as well as collaborating with other educational establishments. You will be able to attend training and events to develop your own skills to ensure that we can then cascade this knowledge to support staff, teachers, and students.

**What You Will Be Doing**:

- Working with other members of the e-Learning Team to maintain knowledge and developments within the field of learning technologies ensuring that teachers and learners can use our top 8 software effectively.
- Manage the smooth running of the software alongside the e-Learning Team and the IT & Network Support Team
- Evaluate and develop systems within the software we use to ensure ease of use and effective working.
- Provide advice, guidance, encouragement, and support on the use of ILE across the college in the classroom and beyond, blended learning and distance online learning.
- Search out and be involved in collaborative projects with colleagues, e-Learning communities and other providers supporting the College in driving forward new initiatives to continue to improve the College’s position and maintain our place as an ‘Outstanding Provider’.
- Identifying and representing the requirements of the academic community in a technical capacity, by developing relationships and actively engaging with a variety of networks, think tanks and focus groups. This will be within and beyond the college, thus ensuring that our status with outside agencies remains firmly as a leader and innovator and our influence within the sector remains high.
