As our Product Manager you will be responsible for the development, ownership and delivery of the product strategy for the Clay division of the business to drive profitable growth.You will manage an extensive range of products and lead the definition,development and launch of new products and systems to strengthen our market leading position.

You will gather market insights and understand customer requirements to ensure we develop and enhance our product offering based on evolving market trends and customer needs, working closely with a wide range of stakeholders to deliver this.You will alsohave a good understanding of the financial performance of the product range to identify ways to maximise profitability, as well as drive sustainable improvements of the range through material efficiencies, carbon reduction, and packaging reduction.

**Your key priorities in this role will be to**:

- Develop and own the Product Plan and the link to business strategic plans
- Management of existing product range and development of new products/systems
- Own and manage Growth Engine product development process, ensuring compliance
- Manage product lifecycles
- Development of and adherence to product KPI's with regular status reporting
- Conduct market research, competitor analysis and customer engagement to help inform product strategy and identify new opportunities
- Support Marketing Communications team with product launches and product campaigns
- Development of R&D capabilities of the division
- Work closely with technical teams to develop and deliver product training activities

**In order to be successful, we would like you to have**:

- Product Management experience with proven track record of developing and delivering product strategies
- Proven track record of managing product ranges throughout he product lifecycle
- Knowledge and understanding of customer insight gathering
- Excellent communication skills

Knowledge of/experience working within the construction industry or of product manufacturing processes would be advantageous but is not essential.
