**Nursery Bank Staff**

**Location: Manchester, UK**

Are you passionate about early childhood education and eager to make a positive impact on the lives of young children? We are currently seeking dynamic and enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Nursery Bank Staff in Manchester.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Supervision and Care**: Provide high-quality care and supervision to children aged 0-5 years in a nurturing and safe environment.

**Activity Planning**: Assist in planning and implementing age-appropriate activities that promote physical, emotional, and cognitive development.

**Support Classroom Teachers**: Collaborate with the teaching team to maintain a positive and engaging learning atmosphere.

**Health and Safety**: Ensure the well-being of children by adhering to health and safety guidelines, including maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards.

**Effective Communication**: Establish open and transparent communication with parents, keeping them informed about their child's daily activities and progress.

**Flexibility**: Be available to work on a flexible schedule, providing cover during staff absences and busy periods.

**Qualifications and Requirements**:

- Minimum Level 2 qualification in Early Years Childcare or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a childcare setting is desirable.
- Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a team.

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: £12.50-£14.50 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Manchester: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Nursery: 1 year (preferred)
- Nursery experience: 1 year (preferred)
- Childcare: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)

Work Location: In person
